My First Experience On Road

Ya, continue with my last blog....ok on friday, i am suppose to meet meiyi for dinner and we went to the kopitiam opposite Bukit Gombak Mrt. The food there were good and after dinner, i am suppose to meet my instructor at the usual place. The carpark behind Bukit Gombak MRT station. He was not here yet and i ask meiyi to accompany me first before she went to find Peiwen.

I was praying hard that everything will go smoothly when i drove the car on road. I was really panic on that day and Meiyi was laughing at me. Hai.. she just dont know how i feel at that moment. A blur queen is going to be on road. Doesnt that scare everyone. Anyway she is still good la.. accompany all the way till my instructor arrived.

Ok when i board the car, instructor say : Erm...as usual, I will bring you to the carpark first as it is peak hour now, alot of cars, not suitable to be on road. I was like phew..a load off my mind..haha....heng ar...

After going a few rounds in the carparks, my confident increase. Time Check: 7:20pm...instructor say ok now we can be on road. Slow and Steady. I was feeling abit excited and scare. But i still go for it.

THere was a few time the engine just go off in the middle of the road, i was so panic, there were cars behind our car but the instructor just told me....take it easy, be thick skin, dont need to feel pai sei..just do what you have to do.

Wow that was very encouraging, on one hand he is showing hand signal to the rear car by saying sorry, on the other hand he was encouraging me.

Hmm... that was really comforting and encouraging. I took out my courage and i start the vehicle again. And you know what, the engine just goes off again.. I was like arghh.... but he say its ok... try again. Ok this time round, it was better. Haha whole journey i was very very ganqiong...But it was fun la. Not as bad as i have thought.

Maybe its becasue of Edison stern teaching that cause some fierce in me. But i am better now. Hope i can be more and more steady.

After the lesson, edison pick me up and we went to chaplain house for meeting. The whole thing end quite late ba...and i manage to persuade meiyi to overnight at my house. haha. I am suppose to help her to draw her project and she can come my house to watch vcd and we can go gb together the next day. Anyway she just doze off in the middle of the show.

She woke up early in the morning even before i wake up. Ok she got a sore thoat but we still tabao roti prata for breakfast.

Reach school about 8.50am. The whole meeting was ok... Think it was better compare to previous few time. Enjoy the program. i hope the girls too. :)

Driving Lesson

Yesterday I ask Edison to bring me to the carpark at Taman Jurong to learn driving. Hai....althought it is a deserted carpark, but there are still alot of people learning driving there.

As i am a beginer, its very hard for me to learn when there are alot of vehicles keep coming into the carpark and i actually block their way.

We first went to the carpark outside Taman Jurong Swimming Pool, then we went to the Heavy Vehicle Carpark outside Taman Jurong Stadium, then we went to Raffles Marina Carpark, then we went to Tuas to learn. Can you imagin, I had a hard time.

I learn quite slow and Edison is very impatient to me too. So it was a unhappy learning time for me.

I got problem starting the vehicle, I always release the clutch more then it is needed and the engine just go off. Everytime the engine goes off, my husband face is the same colour as the engine,yes that black.

Making a turn makes me Gan Qiong and my hand and leg dont seems to coodinate well enough.

Arghhh...today i even have to be on road at the most busy time of the day. Knock off time, sure alot of vehicle on road. I am going to cause a jam.

I am feeling quite upset over this...Arrghhh who can help me....Those who are more patient with me is not available to help me.. Sob Sob.

I am a person who needs more encouragement then any other, if people are impatient with me the more lousy i will be. Hai.....

Anyway i am not going to be beaten by this. I am going to try harder to make it possible. I know i can do it. Jia You Liqin. Jia You.....

My Shopping Victory

Wow, yesterday i had an enjoyable night, Sarah and i went to Menotti, the orginal Italian Cafe at Raffles City. Sarah bought me there, she told me this place got good atmosphere and good food and most of all good dessert. But most of all i think the partner i having my dinner with was even better.

We each order a set meal. It was quite value for money. A big bowl of soup, main course, coffee / tea and most of all dessert.

We chat the whole night till about eight thirty and we decided to pay our bill and shop around.

My + Dinner + Breakfast

It have been a few days since i last blog...Time Check..now is 9am..Just took my breakfast. haha..the leftover dinner i cook last night. Still Taste as good as ever...wow Liqin you really can cook man.. haha...

Yesterday my mother was having a headache and hence she did not cook and i did not go over to her house.

So i went with Edison to the near by NTUC to do some marketing for my dinner.

I bought some prawns, wanton skin, minced pork, spring onion, Dao gua, xiao bai cai and shitake mushroom...

I cook a wanton soup, stir-fry dao gua with dark and sweet sauce, xiao bai cai with oyster sauce and shitake mushroom.
Cook alot of rice too so that it is enought for me and edison to pack for our breakfast today. Yummy... Wanted to take some picture of my breakfast but look too yummy for me. So cant wait to tuck in. You all just use your imagination can already. Haha.

Enjoy cooking very much. Hope that i can be a chef one day instead of sitting in office everyday facing the computer.

I enjoy cooking for meiyi also, cause she appreciate my cooking. haha even thought it is a simple meal.

This saturday, i am inviting my in laws to my house since i long time didnt visit them already. Use this sat to make up for them. Going to cook Laska and maybe whip up a few simple dishes ba. Anyway just simple dishes hope they don't mind.

Yeah...today i am going out with Sarah for shopping. So happy. Going for a good dinner and then shop till we drop at orchard. will take some photos too. hehe.

GB 80th Anniversary

Yesterday is GB 80th Anniversary, we 17th have a table given to us.

Today manage to msn with a ndp long last friend.

Although dont seems that long but to me i think it was long lo. think about 9 months already. How time files...

This friend of mine have been quite busy recently and hence he have lost contact with us. But i am happy that today i still can msn with him to find how how he is doing.

I still can remember how much fun our group have while we participate in last year ndp. Those were the days i really cant forget. This group of friends really left a deep impression in my heart and mind. But now all of these friends are all busy with their work and we seldom got time to get together...Some starts their working life, some go oversea for attachment, some busy with family.....those were the days.

Hope that one day we still can all gather together to have fun and laughter again.

My first driving lesson

Last wednesday i just had my first driving lesson. I was feeling very excited about it. Finally the day came.

I was meeting the instructor at bukit Gombak mrt station there. I was looking out for his vehicle and i am curious how my instructor looks like. Ok... he looks much older then what i have imagin but its ok.

He drove me to a heavy vehicle car park to have my first driving lesson there.

I have problem coping with the clutch and the accerator. Faint. nearly wanted to give up already. It was so difficult. okok i zi bu liang li. go and learn manuel instead of auto.. casue my company vehicle are all manual one, if i have manual license that means i can drive my company van or lorry. steady. so die die also must master it.

Today i am having my second lesson. trying to relax and stay clam. Hope today can coodinate better with my hand and leg. Wish me good luck.

Cash Box Opening

"Cash Box" what is that. To many people they wont know what is cash box...haha.

Cash Box is the first pawnshop in shopping mall. This pawnshop is own by my company. Its is at jurong point basement. Other then pawn service, they also sell gold pieces. Most of the people that walk pass this shop will feel that pawnshop gold are all 2nd hand. Thats not true. All the gold are 1st hand man.

How come i know so much?? Thats because i work there too. I am a part time worker there. I work 3 hours a week only..haha so short?? thats because i am helping out now. They lack of helper there.

On the 7th of July 07, they have their first grand opening, they invite lion dance, dragon troop and a emcee and dj for the event. wow. cool. Alot of people came for the opening. They were later being ursher to siam kitchen. The buffet they serve were cool, nice taste for the green curry.

We were having this spinning wheel game at the center stage that day. Alot of people Q-up. We were so busy with the game and controling the crowd. Our top prize is 7777, up till now still no people won.

okok that day i was very tired with the games, just as i got to seat down, a guy on a wheel chair with his maid behind stop infront of me. He told me he just spin the wheel but didnt win. So i smile at him and i say its ok. Try again next time. he ask me am i working in cashbox and i say yes, he ask me again if i am staying near by, i say erm...yes. then he told me he also staying near by, i say erm..ok...then he suddenly ask for my hp no. i look at him in surpise, my hp no. this time round i say sorry i cant give.

then he ask me if i got pen and paper, he give me his. I looked at him curiously. Ok, i still get him the paper hope that he will leave after that. so i took the paper with his no on it and he left.

After a while, i thought to myself...so stupid, just tell him you are married la...haha suddenly forgot that i am married, not single anymore.

Anyway seldom got people ask for my hp. so abit surpise la..so dont know how to handle. but the feeling was good la..at least i know i dont look like huang lian po yet.

That day was fun, i was giving out balloons and tending the wheel. have a good time with my colleagues and friends.

My new colleagues

Hmm....it have been ages since i update my blog. Have been lazy recently and busy also la...everyday seems like i got a lot of things to do.

Recently i got three new colleague from China. They are Miaoting, Ah Peng and Ya Mei. They are very young ladies who is only 24. All very pretty and friendly.

Since they just came, of course i am busy helping them to settle down things and trying to get to know them better.

They lived just a few block away from me so sometime i will ask edison to lobang them home.

They are all cute ladies which they also find me a interesting person.

There was one time when my mechanic is suppose to send me home, i ask him how the two ladies next door is going back. he say ask them to sit behind the lorry lo. I was surpise ....huh behind the lorry, Its like pick up...you all know. without cover one. I dont think the ladies will sit behind lo. so pai sei.

But on seeing they pai sei and want to take bus instead, i speak up suddenly. Hey two will feel pai sei how about three.

I dont sit infront, we three sit at the back together lo....

They looked at me with surpise. Maybe to them Singaporean wont do such things ba. but to me ....hmm...its ok la. since nobody knows me and it is such a short distant. pai sei pai sei lo.

So i get the ball rolling by climbing onto the back of the lorry and they follow. haha my dogs were also feeling curious, even when the lorry have went out of the factory, the dogs were all standing at the main gate looking at us wondering what are we doing. haha. interesting.

So along the way, alot of drivers were looking at us. The girls are pai sei and i console them by saying, its ok la...you all so pretty, must sit behind and let people see mah. dont waste your youth. They look at me in amaze, one of them even say she feel touch that i sit behind with them. they didnt expect me to do that.

ok la.. it was a fun journey also. we giggle and laugh all the way to jurong point.

Recently one of them fall sick, just went home only. Hope she will get well soon.

Yesterday, got a new dog in my company again.

It is a very small dog think age is about 3 months ba....

Somebody throw this dog here for me to take care...kaooooo....i really headache. This is the 3rd dog someone is abandoning to my site.

I cant rear anymore dogs already, please dont throw dogs here anymore..Argghhhh....

I am now helping this dog to find a owner, anyone interested please call me...it is a very cute puppy. here are some of the pics.

If i cant help it to find a owner, my colleague is going to abandon this dog at some ulu carpark. So do help this dog to find a home.
