9th July 2009, after the check up at NUH, i went with my mum to collect my passport at lavendar. Thank GOd not many people were there so i manage to collect my passport within 5 min. Woo Hoo...

After collecting, we hail a cab to Shangri-la hotel for lunch buffet at the line. Both my sisters and my dad will be there to meet the both of us. Woo HOo... isn't it great. During weekday, thursday somemore, and our whole family can get together to have buffet. haha first time. All of us took leave on that day. Cool!!

Heard from alot of people that the buffet over at Shangri-la is good, but i find it still all right la....not much varity for me. Maybe there are things that i don't take so varity to me wise is limited. I like the oyster serve there. Its fresh and the taste is great. Used to like Oyster alot alot but in these few years, i found that alot of oyster serve at most of the hotels or resturant the taste is quite bland. Maybe it is singapore breed or what, the taste is bad...i stop taking after one. But the oyster serve at the line is the taste that i am looking for. GOOOD....even my mum and dad took about 8 and they also says that its good.

Other then oysters, i like the lobster bisto. Its nice also....yummy... :) Sashimi varity is few. Only got two type, maguro and salmon. disappointing.

hmm....for lunch time they are charging at $45.00 after credit card discount. So still quite reasonable la. But dinner is about $80 -$90 dollars which i find it abit too expensive.

Nevertheless, i still enjoy our family gathering that day together with my niece and nephew... Some photos of my cute nephew..

After the heavy lunch, we took 2 cab to Orchard Road shopping. Hmm abit tired and not much to shop too. So around 4 plus, we took another 2 cab to go home. Thats the problem with too many people. haha. faint..got to spend alot of transportation.

16th May 09, Went Novotel with Edison to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. Hmm....Why novotel, its because novotel is our wedding hotel. I must say Novotel is really a good place to hold wedding. We had a wonderful wedding at Novotel and the suite was really big and cozy...my gosh...i love novotel!! wahaha.

Tibits Corner, Did you see something strange ontop of the tibits...haha first time i saw this thing on top of tibits.

Went to shop around Clark Quay that evening,then to Central Shopping Mall coffee club to have a nice bite and to laze around. And edison treat me for a nice japanese meal. Had order my favourite sashimi too. cost him a bomb. haha... but its ok la. it was an enjoyable evening. :) Happy 2nd anniversary Lao Gong.

2nd May 09, went East Coast park again to celebrate my niece 5 years old birthday. This time round, my 2nd aunty family and my xiao yi went along with us too.

11th April 2009, GB meeting in Shuqun Secondary School - program for that day, to clear up all our stuffs in the GB room as 17th GB is going to be close on 18th April formally. Its Sad!! but still have to accept. Not many girls turn up for that day. Quite disappointing as the officers were hoping to have more bonding time with the girls.

Early in the morning, Meiyi is giving instruction on how to clear the things.

We are taking our own sweet time because as we flip through all the things, memories came back bit by bit....

On 10th April 2009, our whole family decided to went for a picnic at East Coast Park. It was like 20 years ago that our whole family went for a picnic.

I always talk about my friends in my blog. This time round let me introduce you all to my lovable family members.

Ohhh.....it've been a long long time since I finally made up my mind to start writing again....sorry for the late update.....Rew...Rew.....play back...ok...that time i was talking about the drill competition that was over, we got a silver. now i am going to talk about the Awards and Dedication Day on 4th Arpil 09.

This is the long waiting day that our company was waiting for. The hardwork that have been done for the past one year and its now paying off time. Its the day we went to collect our Gold award and our top ten fortnight collector.

Our whole company went for this event. The last major event that we are to take part. After this major event, we should be closing very soon.

Drill Competition 14th March 2009

17th GB company had started to prepare this competition since last year October 08.

Eugene Heng was our instructor for this event. We practise twice a week, tuesday and saturday. A little information about him. He have been our drill instructor for the past two competition. We get to know him because some of our officers used to work under him and by chance we got to know that he was from BB. So we ask him to help us in the drill competition. He live in Pasir Ris and it's very nice of him to come all the way down to Jurong to teach our girls.

In the begining we really got a hard time to pursuade the girls to come for practises. They will come out with all types of reason to skip pracises until they see the reasults themselve. After that, they have been faithful and is keen since the start of this year even though of their busy schoolwork.

I am impress by our girls drill, they have improvement tremenously and i see pride in them when they execute the movement.

For this drill competition even though we got a silver but i am still very proud of them. Well done girls...Some photos....

Time passes....our drill camp 2009 was over in a blink of eyes. Hmmm....it was a very very short camp. I have regretted for holding it for only 2 days and 1 night. I should have made it 3 days 2 night. So that we will have more time for fellowship.

It was a memorable and meaningful camp to all the officers and girls. It was the first drill camp combine with Jurongville (64th company) and we are holding this camp specially for those taking part in the drill competition 2009.

The girls were well behave in the camp and their drill improve tremendously. Well Done Girls. Even if we didnt win anything, don't be despair because we have tried our best. We had fun and we have our laughter. Hmm....was expecting Captain ball challenge again with the girls vs officers in this camp but there were a few girls and some officers who were not able to make it. Will have to postphone the challenge after the drill competition as i also scare that they will injure themselve during the match.

14th February 2009.. Its Velentine's Day...Went GB that morning and then lunch with the officers... Was discussing something very headache...Hai....i bring this headache all the way back home...

Was at the carpark, edison parking... then i alighted... suddenly had a thought... how nice if now i got a bouquet of flowers in front of me.... then i thought hai... not possible la... but then i see edison pacing up and down.. then i tell myself eee got chance lei... then he lock the car and walk a few pace then turn back i follow him.. he knows that maybe i know something..haha and yeah... he bo pian actually he wanted to give me a surpise but haha i know wat is in his mind... Receive the flowers ....instantly brighten my day.. haha... just came in at the right time. something that i need badly at that point of time...

Although flowers at valentine day is very expensive but i still likes to receive flowers on this day very much.. haha bo pian. think all girls will like it..

Yes!! finally all my 16th years in GB, GB 17th finally attain a GOLD for company award....

This Gold doesnt came easy like i say its 200% we put in in 2008, alot of happiness, alot of sadness, alot of tears...

2008 we really do the school proud.. even though we have not been achieving but this year Yes!! from nothing to Gold... I .....dont know what else to say but just feeling happy and feel proud of our girls and officers...

A full stop for my last year as a captain... :D

ok time to update again....wait, let me brush off the dust from my blog....brush, brush.....

ok..(mixed feeling) I was suppose to submit my GB agm report 2008 asap to chaplain....Chaplain ask me to write on January 09 but i have forgotten about it. pai sei pai sei....

So was wondering what i should write about the year 2008...headache as i know there were alot of things inside my mind. I know i got alot of things to write but i just don't know where should i start... so i decided to read some of my passed year report hmm...from 2003 to 2006..as i read...alot of memories came back......I read my own report about wat happened the 1st year, then 2nd and 3rd year...

Hmm when i read, i can sense tears coming out from my eyes...hai...

Curious about what i wrote....

let me share with you all my 2003 report

The Girls’ Brigade Singapore 17th Company
2003 was a difficult year for most of us but we want to thank God for guiding and blessing us throughout the whole year.

In the beginning of the year, God gave us 3 new recruits with a learning heart and were regular in their attendance. Our company had a total strength of 25 and on behalf of the company; I would like to thank the chaplain, the officers, senior NCO, teachers in charge and the helpers for their hard work.

In February, we celebrated our anniversary at China Square Tea House. We didn’t know till that day that actually our girls can really eat. They had their fill, fun and fellowship; it was a memorable night for them.

Due to Sars, we have to stop our meeting for a few sessions and our Enrolment was change to June instead of April. We had our Enrolment Service in Shuqun Primary together with the 51st company and both primary and secondary school principal were invited for the occasion. Although it was a simple ceremony yet it was a meaningful event for all of us as we rededicate ourselves to the ministry on that day.

During June, 3 NCOs went for the regional camp “Mission Possible”. 1 of them was promoted to Sergeant and 2 to Corporals. The 2 teachers in charge Mona, Pauline and Warrant Officer Lin Xian went to serve in the camp as their BOTC project. I myself also went to serve in the camp as a recreation coordinator and Jasmine was there to help out in the camp. It’s was a day camp and it last for 3 days.

In August, we had a few activities. First, we had an officers and NCOs retreat at Changi Conference Centre. We had a good time together and we get to know each other better during our fellowship at night. We share our most inner secrets with one another/
Second, we had the promotion and dedication service in ACS where the officers were officially promoted and NCOs dedicated.

After the school examination, we brought the girls to Marina for steamboat and bowling. The girls loved the steamboat and they enjoyed themselves very much.

During December, our girls attended the Youth camp together with the JCC youth and Boy’s Brigade. They had a good time where they get to know more friends and they learn more about god through the games and devotion.

We look forward to the new year and we prayerfully ask God to give us more girls to build up the strength of the company.

Lastly, on behalf of the company, I would like to thank the church for your continuous support and earnestly ask you to support us the next year.

haha is it a very weird report... i read and i find the way i wrote is quite funny.

Care to read 2004 :) Here goes

Hi all,

2004 has been a blessing year to us, god has given us 7 new recruits in the beginning of the year follow by another two new girls who have join us on August and November separately. Although our total strength for the girls is only 18 but all 18 is faithful and just.

Our girls have shown unity throughout the year 2004 and our bonding between the girls and officers is also built on sure foundation. Our bonding is even stronger during the training for the drill competition. Two years back, when we were training hard for the drill competition, we were over confident that we will sure win and we even didn’t ask god for help and strength and as a result, we loose terribly. That night, all the girls cried and everyone was feeling real down. This year due to insufficient of girls, we have to combine with both Bukit View Secondary and Kent ridge Secondary. Even though the three schools make it a point to stay back on Saturday for training, but due to different school management, some of the girls have to stay back for remedial on sat and we have to either cancel the training or delay the training for a few hours. We didn’t manage to train in full strength of 18 until 2 weeks before the actual competition. Our girls due to the previous sets back were actually having phobia. Our commander upon seeing that there were no improvement in the girls drill were worried sick but on the other hand, the girls from the two school were actually quite confident that this round they will sure get a gold in the competition (just like us, two years before, full of confident). But our commander fear that history will repeat once again and sometime she will just broke down in tears during the training session and she even call up the officer to suggest giving up.

Nevertheless, our girls choose not to give up and they even encourage her. Everyone tried their best and we pray very hard to god for strength and health. On the night before the competition, only our girls choose to stay back for an overnight camp in church as the rest of the girls from the two school got remedial lesson on the next morning.

That night, the girls were busy polishing their boots and the officers were helping the girls to sew their haves sack, just to make sure they are smartest on the next day.

That night, everybody is feeling excited and at the same time there was this unsure feeling deep inside our heart which nobody choose to talk about it for fear it will demoralize the rest of the girls. The girls can’t really sleep well on that night so they woke up quite early on the next day to see if there is anything they have left out. They help one another to check and iron their uniform and caps. As the competition time was nearer. Classroom 4 & 5 was in a chaos, you can see girls running for their belts, ties, socks and gelling their hairs. Everybody was excited and everyone was doing their best to look smart on this very day. When it was time for them to board the bus, the girls were still tying their hair, adjust their uniform and so on. We were the last two contingent on that day to march in and when it was time for us to perform our drill, dark clouds begin to surround the sky, we were ask to delay our drill. We were only allowed to continue after fifteen minutes later. Everything went on smoothly and when it was time for the results, we actually got gold. Every one of us could not believe it. We hug and cry after the whole event and we shout at the top of our voice to express how happy we are. That night is really an unforgettable night and we really thank god for everything he has did for us.
We went for Pizza Hut to celebrate our victory that night. Everybody had a feast and it ended with a big smile on everybody face.

A few weeks later, when the school was putting up new banner, we saw the banner wrote: 17th Girls’ brigade gold award for drill competition. We were so proud then as it has always been impossible for us to see our 17th Girls’ Brigade name up on the school banner.

Through this, it made us understand one thing deeply. With god, all things are possible, Without god all things are impossible and will even create a mess out of it.

Our girls because of this begin to love drill and we really treasure every single one of the girls and officers who is in Girls’ Brigade. Everyone in GB is chosen by god and god has really bonded us together like a family. Our programs even though remain the same every year, but because of our girls, our program becomes fun, full of laughter and joy. We look forwards to next year so that more girls can join our big family.

The 17th Singapore Girls’ Brigade Company

2005 was a blessing year for our 17th Company and we want to thank God for guiding and blessing us throughout the whole year.

In the beginning of the year, God gave us 3 new recruits. Even though towards the end of the year we are left with 1, we still want to praise and thank God for this girl perseverance and faith. Our company had a total strength of 29 at the end of 2005 and on behalf of the company; I would like to thank the chaplain, the officers, senior NCO and the teachers in charge for their hard work.

One of the officer Teo Chun Chun who have left the company five years ago came back to help us last year. We want to thank God for her good administrative skill and the heart to serve the girls. She got married last year on 28th of May 05 and she have invited our ex girls from 17th to her wedding. It was indeed a good time to get together where the ex girls get to know the present girls where they share their experiences. It was indeed an unforgettable day for most of us.

Even though our company is small in numbers but God never stops to provide us and we really want to thank God for blessing our company. During the GB Fortnight on 2004, our girls stay back on Saturday to made GB bookmarks and balloon sculpturing hoping to raise more money for our company for the use of conducting badge work and camps. During 2005 Promotion and Dedication Service, our company turn out to be the top five collector for GB Fortnight 2004. Thanks to the church members and friends who have donated generously to us.

For GB Fortnight 2005, our girls have set up 2 stalls in the church, one selling economics Mee Hoon and Nasi Lemak and another stall selling books, soft toys, clothing and ornaments. We are still waiting for the fortnight results which will be out on the 1st of April 2006. We pray and hope that we have done well on 2005.

Thanks be to God who have help our company to obtain a Bronze awards for our company award 2005. This is the first time we have applied and together with the girls and officers we have tried hard to obtain this award. This is a good start for our company and we will continue to strive for a sliver award for 2006.

During 2005, 3 of our officers together with our chaplain Wong Mui have move into the Girls’ Brigade at West Wood Secondary School to help out. The girls at Westwood are helpful and friendly which leave a very good impression to our officers. We hope that both companies can learn from one another and built a strong relationship within each other. .

Last December 05, we had our fun camp held at BB and GB Campsite. Our camp theme was Faith Trek hoping that the girls will get to know Christ and have faith in him in whatever things they do. It was a very enriching & spiritual camp. Everyone get to share about their life and we got to know each other better and we have built up a strong relationship. A few of our girls accepted Christ during the camp and some of them rededicate themselves back to God. We really got to thank God for this camp.

We look forward to the New Year and we prayerfully ask God to give us more girls to build up the strength of the company and to bless our company.

Lastly, on behalf of the company, I would like to thank the church for your continuous support and earnestly ask you to support us the next year.

Girls’ Brigade

17th Company

The 17th Singapore Girls’ Brigade Company

2006 have not been an easy year for our 17th Girls’ Brigade Company but we want to give thanks to God who is always there to help us and to guide us through those difficult period.

Our company had a total strength of 26 girls, 1 Chaplain, 1 Captain, 5 Officers and 3 Senior NCOs towards the end of 2006. And on behalf of the company; I would like to thank the chaplain, officers, senior NCO and the teachers in charge for their hard work.

In 2006, the major problem we face were shortage of both the members and officers and on top of that we are also struggling with the closure of our company in Shuqun Secondary School due to our small enrolment of girls and on top of that our teacher in charge had been transfers to another school.

However, we are happy for our teacher in charge Ms Mona Goh who had been with us for the last 5 years had found her the other half in Shuqun Secondary and they got married last December 06. Although she was being transfer to another school, we would like to thank her for the hard work she have put into this ministry and we wishes her all the best in her future Endeavour.

We also wants to thank the Senior NCOs and Meiya who was there to help out during our difficult period where most of the officers have to work on Saturday and they have to be there to lead the program.

One of our Officer - Zhen Zhen manage to get alternate off in her work which also help us greatly in our planning of programs on Saturday too.

Somewhere during the mid year, the school had short listed some CCA to be close down due to the percentage drop of student intake and the wide choice of CCA in Shuqun Secondary. Unfortunately, we were one of the shortlist CCA due to our small enrolment of girls and to add on, the school has yet to found a suitable teacher to take over Girls’ Brigade.

We met up with the school principal hoping he can let us continue our ministry and Thank God, he agreed after much consideration but he hopes that we can continue to recruit more members and achieve more awards for the school in order to continue our ministry.

Although there were bad times but we manage to go through and solve it eventually with the help of God.

We look forward to the New Year and we prayerfully ask God to give us more girls to build up the strength of the company and to bless our company.

Lastly, on behalf of the company, I would like to thank the church for your continuous support and earnestly ask you to support us the next year.

ok new beginging...new year....been quite sometime since i last update my blog cause meiyi also stop blogging le....So abit lazy.. no motivation.

Today i will just blog about some of the major event that took place from 1st January to 21st January ba....

1st January 09, together with edison we went Boon Lay for countdown...hmm i guess for the pass few years i have been doing so ba...the previous year, i celebrate with meiyi, meiya and edison. I cook for them a new year feast before we went downt to boon lay for ti-kam and watch some performance, countdown and some fireworks. This year they each have their own program. so left me and edison only...Met my dad at the countdown..he alone. so we went to watch performance together...Some random photos:

Ok on 16th of January is a special day.... Its BONUS DAY yeah.... boss have been good to me.... thanks boss... hmm...but i have spend about 3/4 of my bonus... because of all the credit cards debt...but its good la...finally debts free....yeah....

17th January 09, i finally step down as a captain...Officially hand over to Officer Beng Lay...Its time for me to take a break already :)....but don't worry cause i am still serving as a officer in 17th :) Oh ya...btw...we got a silver for our company award.... i am happy cause this is our first silver and highest company award our company got... Our girls and officers put in 200% effort.... i am very proud of them...but i will try to appeal and see if we are able to get GOLD... cause might be a mistake.....Hope we can excel in march 09 drill competition also.. Jia you girls.. I will always be proud of you all...you all are the best in my heart.

Hello Everybody, especially Meiyi, i am back blogging.... Hmm have been lazy and busy to blog la.....haha...so today i am here to upload how i spend my christmas man...

Christmas Eve: Early in the morning, wake up as usual cause going to work. But the feeling is very very different cause its Christmas eve. Even Though there are not many people working in my office compare to the HQ side. But we still decided to celebrate within ourselve. Manager say he will be bringing a log cake and See Teng Mac Breakfast, Tong Tong & Apeng will bring plates and forks and i will be bringing sushi, potato salad and some cocktail sausages.

We each also prepare a gift for gift exchange.Some pictures for that day.

hmm...lazy to upload this few days...haha but since Meiyi request... erm... i shall upload abit :)

hmm... Last Sat went Ku Shin Bo at Great Wall City to celebrate Edison 30th Birthday,(actual day was sunday la but he working on sunday so we celebrate earlier lo) since it is newly open so they have this $25 off your bill. Thats why we decided to go there instead of Jurong point Ku Shin Bo.

That day as we were late for our reservation, so Edison was driving quite fast...suddenly he spotted the way in to the carpark and in order not to miss it, he swerve to the right in order not to miss the entrance. Faint but he didnt realise there is bollard at the middle at first so he swerve back from left...there was these loud brake sound coming out... faint.. nearly accident, very very close...... If it really happened i think we can celebrate his birthday at the hospital liao...

He got a shock also.. ok so we decided not to talk about it to spoilt the mood. So we went for our dinner.. hmm it was rather cramp there and the food is not as much as jurong point. Quite disappointed...and they dont have my california handroll sob sob...

And worst of all, sitting next to us were a family. Two parents, two kids and one maid. The two kids were basically crying the whole night.... i was going to faint already.... The parent just let them cry there..... Helpp me... it was suppose to be a romantic night but turn out a nightmare.

Finally they left after i was there for about an hour. At least my i have some peaceful moment.

16th November Sunday.....

Wake up early with edison and we went to Tamah Jurong Mac for Breakfast. Mac Breakfast have been my favourite breakfast since young. haha so wake up very early just to eat my big breakfast.

Went sheng siong to buy some veg and meat for that night dinner. Meiyi and Meiya will be coming to my house for dinner.

Decided to cook 1 soup and 5 dishes for our dinner...haha abit too much hor. but still went ahead la cause the left over Meiyi can tabao home mah for her Monday Dinner. haha

hmm...since quite sometime since i logged in.... going to update some passed event.... 08th November 2008 Two lonely woman meet and decided to go Tampinese Mall for shopping and Movie. Bought Mac Chicken Meal and we smuggle inside. I must say the Mac Chicken at Tampinese Mall taste really good.. haha...Watch The Coffin...hmmm was disappointing with the movie. I was expecting it to be something really worth watching but it turn out to be quite boring. Meiyi even fall asleep while watching...... After Tampinese Mall we decided to go T3 for a walk... Hmm... nothing much there...thought it would be really something different and nice....after so much advertising.. but hmm.. think still room for improvement. After T3 we took the sky train to T2. Some picture.

Went Sakae for dinner... Ate quite alot since i love sushi so much...When i am feeling down and moral low i will go and eat japanese food.. eating your favourite food will help you to forget your problem temporary :)

After Sakae, we continue to hang around... Went coffee bean then to a cosy area for some drinks We went home about 2am in the morning. Meiyi spend the night at my house as well. Chatted for quite a while slept at 4 or 5am ba... hmm quite tired. She went back around 10+ ba and i continue to sleep till 3pm.... old people need more sleep. :)

Ok... on 12th November 2008, at about 1215pm, my sister in law give birth to her first child. Happy for her. My in laws were very happy...It was a cute baby boy... Went to hospital to visit her together with edison that night. We bought a fruit basket and some flowers for her.....

Today i hope i will be in a very good mood. Today is my Big Boss son wedding. He is going to marry a japanese girl. Today i work half day. Only a few is invited and i am honour to be invited as well. I am one of the receptiontist for the night.

Bought a black gown for tonight event. Went together with mum to get it over the last weekend. Manage to get one after we went to a few places. Painted my nails yesterday night at around 12am. Cause i have forgotten all about it and i was watching TV the whole night. Faint.

Later after i knock off, hmm.....got to prepare my things already. cause got to reach at 5pm. Oh... forgot to say the venue. Its at Shangri-La hotel. They have about 100 tables for tonight, 15 Usher, 12 Receptiontist. Alot right.....

Going to doll up nicely tonight, hope that my mood will be better by then cause yesterday night my mood wasn't too good too. Haha first thing in my mind was to look for Meiyi. But didnt la....cause dont want to add to her stress as well....maybe over the weekend ba.... will meet up again on sunday.

Oh ya....cause recently i am down......if there is nothing important, dont meg me....let me be enjoy my time alone. Try not to meg me unless important. Thank you all.....

Good things never last, its time for bad things again....have been feeling quite depressed these few months..Have not really been happy....I have not really laugh heartly for the pass few months which i used to smile, jokes and laugh loudly almost everyday.

Maybe when you grow older and older, you have to handle more and more problems...Abit tired.... have been trying my best to do watever that is best and please everyone..but it always turn out differently..

Sometime we really have to learn to let go, calm down and solve problem by problem and see what God really wants me to do.

1st November 2008

My off day... Went to GB early in the morning even though i only get to sleep at 2am.. Was the first to reach Jurongville. My first visit to Jurongville.

A cozy school i should say with alot of green colour... I bought a packet of milo and I waited for my girls to reach....Played some ice breaker games later on together with 64th company.. hope that you all will know each other more by now.. Since we are taking part as a team for drill com...we got to know each other well...

Eugene came shortly to train the girls for the drill. He have been very helpful all these years and i really appreciate him very much.. He live in pasir ris and is willing to come all the way down to Jurong to help us with the drill com... Thanks alot....

Went for lunch with Meiya and Xueqi at the CC mac...first time went lunch with Xueqi.. haha Enjoyable talking to her.. Send her back after lunch.. Then got to rush home with edison to do housework...haha cause in laws coming mah...have to tidy and clean up abit or else later they say this daughter in law hmm never do house work and didnt take good care of his son.. haha so got to double up. wash clothes, wash toilet, tidy here tidy there... hmm and finally about 6.30pm..all done up... :) all very neat and clean.. even i am impress by myself haha...

Ok then went to pasir ris to pick them up for dinner and then my house after that. They stay till 1100 plus 12. Then send them back to pasir ris and then we reach home about 1 plus and slept at 2 plus...tired tired tired.

Last Friday 31st October 08, edison came to pick me from my office after his re-service. We went home to change and we headed down to Vivo city to meet Meiyi.

Hmm saw Yanhua at Soo Kee, she says that she wants to change her job already...hmm always hear the same thing from her but never see any action....

Went dinner with Meiyi at a Chinese restuarant. But i forgot about the name already... only know they serve alot of la mian...

After dinner, we went to shop around..was suppose to shop for a dress for my boss son wedding. Went to CK tang Daniel Yam... hmm... saw a few very pretty one but can't fit me... hmmm angry.... how come sia... i know i gain weight la...but also dont like that mah...:) Meiyi was laughing at me...

During dinner, we were still arguing where to go later to celebrate Halloween night. And Holland V and Paulander were our choices. I ask Meiyi and edison to try out Paulander since they got live band there and at holland V we can only have a drink thats all...Hee Hee...Finally in the end i won.. hehe..

That night got alot of customers. hmm but we manage to get a seat.. Meiya was suppose to meet us too. First time Meiya willing to meet us at around 9plus.. normally she will not come out once she reach home.. Strange..

We order some drinks and the songs were great.. Meiyi and Meiya simply loves the song the live band sang... :) A nice place to chill out i should say...

ok finally am back from camp and is back to work too.

This year our 17th GB fun camp 08 is held on 25th October 08 - 27th October 08 at MOE Dairy Farm.

It was our first time to camp at MOE Dairy Farm.. A good experience for us. It was a fruitful camp too. The program were enriching and cool. Even though i have gone through it before but i am still happy that my girls they benefited from it and they learn quite a number of things & skill out from it.

And not forgeting Wee Xin who celebrated her birthday in the camp too. I hope you have enjoy yourselve and have a unforgetable birthday..erm..i mean the ice cream but do forget about the whip cream part...Happy Birthday :)

This whole week have been a busy week for me. Busy with birthday celebration.

14/10/08 Tuesday is Tong Tong Birthday. My colleague from china. So Apeng and I we bought her a big cake to celebrate her 21st birthday that day. Some photos for that day....

15/10/08 Wednesday

Was suppose to meet Sarah for dinner but the place that we are going is fully booked. So we change our meet up to next Monday. It was good too, i finally get to eat with Edison. After marriage, hai..most of the time he got to eat dinner alone. I also don't know what am i busy with... Sorry Edison, I will try to spend more time with you :P

Went to JP ichiban for dinner....and then we did some shopping. Went to buy birthday gift for her sister whose birthday is 16th October 08. After shopping for quite sometime, we decided to get this for her and her husband.

After work, meet Meiyi and Meiya at Jurong Point to shop for the ingredient for our steamboat night at Michelle House.

Bought alot of things, i wanted to buy a cake but they say after steamboat we will be too full to eat anything le..Cake wait for Sat afternoon la... hmmm angry :(

We reach Michelle House around 8pm and we finish preparing at around 8.20pm...hehe ren dou hao ban shi...Yummy Meal.. alot of things to eat except the pot is abit small. haha..

After the dinner, Jerome bought us to tour around his house. This is the first time we came since michelle move in since june 08.

These group of people gave me a surpise last night, i went to the ladies, and when i came out of the ladies, all the lights were off except for edison. Then immediately i know what they are up too. They must have hide somewhere lighting the cake. So erm.... i also went to hide. i would like to see their facial expression when they can't find me and panic...haha....so i went to hide at the staircase. Shortly they open the door and sing happy birthday with the cake but can't find the birthday girl haha.. so funny... ok la...so after a while i came down, they sing again english and chinese. i abit pai sei sia... haha there were cake, balloons and flower and gift..wow steady sia....

Yeah man.... I'm back from my trip... hehe...

It was an enjoyable and amazing trip with my pals. It was the first time that we decided to go on a trip together. It was full of fun & laughter.

10/10/08 (Friday)
On 10/10/08, i woke up as early as 4.40am to prepare my things and to pick Meiyi up from her house. We reach Bukit Panjang Plaza around 5.30am. Bought some sandwitches and hot chocolate from 7 eleven and we just sit on the staircase to wait for the coach and Jasmine. The hot chocolate taste quite bad and bland. eeeee didnt finish it.

We board the bus at around 6.15am and the bus move off shortly......

We reach Genting at about 1pm, Meiyi was not feeling well, she looked quite pale.... so we bought her to Market Place to have our lunch there. Hmm the things there taste quite bad and it was expensive. But Nevertheless we still finish the food :)

Then on 8th October, i went to Kushin bo with my colleagues as we have four october baby in our office. They are Mr Chow 10th Oct , Tong Tong 14th October, Me 18th October and Ah Chong 28th October. So we decided to have a feast to celebrate our big day..

Its Monday and here i am to do a posting again..haha...

Last Saturday was a fruitful day for me....I must say even though now gb is having its close session since 27th September 08 haha but the officers are still meeting every week without fail.

We will always meet up at my house and do some activity la till about evening then we will go for dinner etc... Last Saturday we met up as usual for our activity, then in the evening we went to Raffles Marina for our dinner. The food was great. I order Laska, Edison, Joy and Meiyi order fish and chip, sangeeta fried rice and Jasmine fried hokkieh mee. The food portion were quite big and delicious. The ambiance was nice and cool hehe.... We finish our dinner at about 9pm+ and Michelle join us with her family.We went for bowling at Raffles Marina... We were the only group that were there.. cool... we pair up with each other. Jasmine and Joy were not playing as they don't know how to play and they chit chat over at a corner. The four of us, meiyi, sangeeta, me and edison is suppose to versus Michelle family. And it turn out Michelle family won. Michelle is our top scorer with 126 and Jim her husband score 122 follow by our Meiyi, then Edison and then jerome, me and sangeeta.

After bowling i think it was about 1000pm plus, then we went for a drink at the lounge.

We order some drinks and i chio meiyi to play a round of pool :) Jim and Jerome join in later on. We played 2 games but jim and jerome won in the end. Heng heng win one..haha. We enjoy the songs, we chat, and we dance. woooohhooo Wat a night. We went back about 12am i guess. Edison allow me to drive and i send Meiyi back. haha.. Cool... They were scare when i drove. Nobody dares to sleep...haha everybody was helping me to look out for vehicle. haha. so funny.

Coming Weekend , looking forward

So looking forward to next friday. Will be going somewhere with Meiyi and Jasmine. First time going out of Singapore with them. So excited. We are looking very forward to it man. Will be celebrating Meiyi birthday too.

Hmm.....Meiyi is a good planner, she have already drawn up a time-table and where to go during the 3 days 2 night maybe because its her birthday. haha... Anyway I am not allow to share where are we going. Meiyi forbid me to say it. -______-"

But it will be an enjoying weekend man. Hmm....since no GB. will be a good break for us.

Yesterday night, i watch liu xing hua yuan till 1240am...Just bought last week. Watch before last time but still feels like watching again.

after that, i can't really slept, was tossing in bed for a while before i was in the dreamland. Hmm....i remember i dreamt about one of my secondary guy friend. Strange....long time didnt contact already how come suddenly of all the people i dreamt of him.

Normally my dream is very real. Sometime i will experience the things in the dream in reality not long after my dream.

If that really happen, it will be good too...long time didnt met. can catch up abit also not bad. :)

Because of the dream....didnt really slept well...now feel very sleep...yawn....got to find something to perk up my morning.

Maybe i will have a nice cup of coffee now. I'll will be back :)

Yesterday night, i went home for dinner...while helping out my mum in the kitchen i told her about the black cat. My brother in law say thank God 7th month have passed already or else really scary sia.

Then my mum suddenly look at me say wanting to share something with me but she knows how timid i am so she dont know if she wants to share with me.
I told her its ok la...just tell me.

She say my grandmother was back this 7th month. I ask her how she knew, she say my 3rd auntie will make coffee for my grandmother for all occasion. So this 7th month she will also make and serve her at the altar.

So there is one night, my 3rd uncle dream of my grandmother, he say grandma told him the coffee made by his wife is very bitter till very hard to swollow.

So my uncle went to ask my auntie did she put sugar in the coffee made for my grandma and she recall back and she told him, Oh, i got put but i forgot to stir. That explain why the coffee is so bitter.

But is it coincidence? i am not sure too.

That reminds me of something else too during my grandma wake. (For your info my grandma passed away two years back)

I remember during my grandmother wake, there was this butterfly that was at my grandma wake throughout. This butterfly was always flying near the coffin and the altar of my grandma.

Maybe it is coincidence but you wont believe it that when we are at Mandai crematorium, i still saw this butterfly following us.

After the cremate, we board the bus getting ready to go back and when the door close, my niece suddenly shouted out telling my sister, lao ma ma haven board yet.. we were shocked...but nothing we could do... my niece was about 2 years old then.

I don't know if she really saw my grandmother...but i believe she should be with my grandpa now taking care of each other...

Yesterday night, i reached home about 8:40pm from my mum house. I was watching zi zhun chu wang follow by Fann Wong show.

During the commercial break, my vision was suddenly being attracted to a moving object near my shoe rack. As my sofa block the view, I stand up to have a closer look.

Then i realise a very black and silky cat with yellow eyes is looking at the mirror on my shoe rack. I was stunned for that few second and i started to shout for edison. Edison was stunned too and that includes the cat. When it heard my shouting it look up at me and edison too. So the 3 of us look at one another and edison starts to take heavy step to scare the cat away. The cat hestitate for a few moment and it runs and squeeze out of my front metal gate.

Phew!! Finally...but how did it run all the way up. I was staying at the top floor lei...

This morning, while edison is locking the door, i went to take a look at my plants as i planted a few new plant yesterday.

I was looking through my plant one by one to make sure they are all growing well. I was still quite please with my plant, but just then, i realise something black was behind my plant at a corner, Argh.....it was the same cat... faint...i was taken aback...got a shocked....the cat was sitting comfortablely at that corner with its eyes looking at me. Faint...i faster called out to edison and he answer back what is it... i say ....its its the same cat again outside our house.

This picture was taken last year...but i got more plants now, so when the cat hide there i can't really see till i step forward to have a better look -___-"
He got a shock upon hearing it and walk towards me, i pointed to him the cat and he say ya its the same cat.

But both of us were in a hurry la.......so we dont have time to chase it away. We will do something about it when we go back tonight.

My heart is still up and down wondering how come it is following us. Don't feel good about it. Maybe because most of the people always link black cat with black magic or something not very good....

Officer Retreat 2008 finally finished today. It was tiring for me this weekend....

30th August 2008, i wake up at 6:40am to wash up and to pack my bag..getting ready for my 2 days 1 night GB officer Retreat 2008.

Poor Edison also got to wake up early to send me to the Mrt station, was suppose to meet Ms Long Meiyi at Jurong East Mrt at 7:45am but she was late...but ok la... not very late also la... late by 5 min :)...

Both of us were wearing addidas polo tee, i am wearing my pink t, and she is wearing her red t...both of us look so similar in our dressing....faint..

Peiyun reached shortly after meiyi arrived...Three cheers and three cheers for Peiyun.. she was having a high fever but she still make it for the retreat.. :)

Jasmine was waiting at Park Mall for us...haha but we were bad, she called to ask us which mrt station we were at... we bluff her that we were at Tanjong Pagar already but actually we were at dover... :)

Thursday, 28th August 2008, after work, i went to celebrate birthday for one of my best friend....hmm....so after work i took a mrt to orchard rd..i must say thank God my working area is not near town or somewhere that i need to take mrt to work and take mrt back...i simply don't like to squeeze during those peak hour in the mrt. There are simply too many people....

After i reach orchard, we went to paragon for some spaghetti follow by coffee club for some coffee and mud pie... The mud pie portion were big but i must say the way they present it looks delicious...hmm i forgot to take a picture of it when they serve us but i do remember to take a photo when we finish...haha...

After coffee club, you won't believe it, we went to Mandarin hotel Chatterbox for some beer and juice...Chatterbox is on the 38th Storey of the building. So you can imagine how great and nice the scenery were. haha sorry didnt take photo either... but this is not the first time i went, this is the 2nd time...first time i went with zhen zhen, yanhua and meiyi after some shopping.

Reach home around twelve something, quite tiring haha ....but it was fun and enjoying to be able to catch up with old friend... :) happy birthday Pig...

Last Saturday, after GB, Meiyi,Peiyun,Jasmine and I went for our lunch at Jurong Point Kopitiam. After our lunch, we decided to go my house to have dinner and to play Payday cause I have promised Meiyi that i will cook for her a home cooked dinner after her exam for the hardwork she have put in her exam.

So we went to seng siong to buy all the ingredient needed... she says that she wants to eat stirred fried chicken wing, fried omelette, Fish Soup and green veg with oyster sauce... so i add on one more dishs sweet and sour prawn.

Money Not Enough 2

Yesterday during work, suddenly got the urge to watch movie.. so after work, I went to Jurong Point to meet edison. We agreed to watch Money not Enough 2....

Haha before Marriage we use to watch 1 show every two week, but after married for one year plus we only went to see twice and this is my 2nd show with him, first one is 881.. haha...

Hmm... as usual i will reach first la.... cause near my office mah.. so i went to get the tickets and i wait for him at the food court.

Hmm....wait and wait... 5 min, 10 min, 15min, 20min.. i guess i wait about 20min ba before he came... so after he reach, i went to order fish and chip and chicken cutlet.. hmm... long time didnt ate westen food le...kind of miss but it does not really taste that good.

So our show is 7pm, edison bought some nachos and coke and we went in.. sitting behind us is 3 malaysian, they were talking quite loudly at first..

The commercial is very long lo... faint.. waited for at least 20 -25 minutes before it starts.

The show is good... really reflect singaporean... and it also show how noble a mum can be and it really reflect that how children will abandon their parent once they are sick or old.. a tragic..i feel sad for the mum in the show... i cried and cried.. hai....sian...everytime watch this kind of show tears cant really control well...today wake up eyes abit swollen... -____-"

My Tiring Weekend....

19th August 2008, time is 1335hrs now. Just finish my lunch not long ago... feel so full now.. hmm.... let me update my last weekend.

On friday, with my colleague sitting next to me, i drove from jurong to Tagore Lane and then to Ang Mo Kio. It was a long journey to me. First time without my driving instructor beside me i had to drove for so long.

This is the lorry i drove around.

Hmm.. driving this lorry is far more more difficult compare to drive a car. First it is manual and the gear part, its abit harder to control. Got to use alot of strenght.

Anyway i am still very happy that i can be on road now. :)

Sat 16th August 08, went with Michelle, Jasmine, Meiya to HQ early in the morning for lead like jesus course.

The Course that we got to attend 2 days

Hmm...the start off was not too bad..When i enter the class room, the table was arrange into 5 groups with blue and green table cloth on it.

Fresh flowers were arrange on each table with a Lead like Jesus workbook, a pen, a journal and a star were laid neatly on the table welcoming us to the course.

A fresh start. Breakfast was provided. It was tasty. Bee thai bak with eggs.. It was yummy. Tea, coffee and milo was provided too. Everything was being well taken care off to make sure we enjoy the course.

Hmm...the course starts off at 9am with some introduction and funny slides. But i find the course abit dry for me. I didnt really enjoy that much even though alot of people says it good.

Finally at about 5 oclock, the course finally end, but is to be continue on the next day 9am - 5:30pm.. faint..

After the course, edison came and fetch me together with his grandparent in the car. We were suppose to go to his sister house. Before that we got to pick up his parent. Tabao dinner up her house to eat. alot of variety for dinner, yong tau hu, satay, hor fun, fried rice, otak, fried oyster. hmm it was nice. then after dinner was the long awaiting mahjong session that his grandparent are waiting. Thats why his grandparents were there.. They love mahjong.

My father in law and brother in law play with the two elderly and the youngsters, his sister, me, edison and his younger brother stays in the living room to play the game Pay Day. It was fun although they did spend quite sometime to read the instruction.

You can't imagin the mahjong session ends at 3.30am. Then we send his grandparent back to queenstown and then we went back to pasir ris. We reach pasir ris at aobut 4:10am. Since i am going to HQ the next day so i already plan to stay over at pasir ris edison home. So after i bath, it was already 4:30am. Then pack a few things wait for edison.. only manage to sleep at 5am. Faint.

Sleep till 8am the next day. Can you imagin only 3 hours of sleep and i got to attend the class till 5:30 that day. Imagin how tired can i be..When we will ask to do some personal prayer, I told myself to concentrate and pray, but when i pray half way, my mind was drifting away and i am praying for funny things. Faint.

After the course end...finally, edison fetch me to his house and he proceed to fetch his parent from ikea. I can't slept even though i am very tired. Then my korean friend call me out for dinner and i agree. We meet at tampines for sakae. I must say the food was real bad, not fresh at all. very disappointing, then we went on for a drink at one of the pub. My friend drank 4 bottle of heniken and i drank 2. At about ten plus, we went home. I reach home about 11 plus.. what a tiring day and monday got to work..faint my weekend just passed like that.

Hello everybody...yes!!! thank you for all your prayer...i passed my driving test after the 3rd attempt :)

So beware that there is another road hazard on road the next time.. when you see me driving please avoid me as much as possible.

Tomorrow 13th August 2008, is another heart attack day for me....its my driving test date...faint..this is my 3rd attempt le... hai...i wonder if i am able to make it tomorrow.

Do pray for me, i do hope to pass on the 3rd attemp...i am spending too much on this license already. But i scare that i will knock onto the pole inside the circuit again. Bang 2 time liao..cannot take it if i knock onto it another time.

Wish me luck ba...but dont laugh at me if i fail again, but do encourage me man...thank you...

This weekend, i have been quite good...staying at home doing housework..no work no gb due to National Day..Able to sleep late on saturday seems impossible to me unless its public holiday..

I woke up about 11am..cool...had a nice sleep. Went downstair for breakfast with edison and then we start doing housework. he vacuum the floor and i wash the bagful of clothes..i also mop the floor and tidy up the house...

When i was cleaning up the front door..clearing away the dust..suddenly a idea stuck me.. hmmm why dont i paint the metal gate..make it look like 2D effect...haha but i should say it was not very successful la... but it was still good after all the effort...

NDP 2008 is finally over....When i watch the live telecast from TV every year since 2006, i will always remember how i used to march in that parade. The parade that is filled with so much fun and laughter to me.

Everything seems like last month only. I really missed those days that we were at ndp. We laugh, joked, play and suan one another. And i really looked forward to every practises then.

In my heart, i really wanted to yell and shouted out that i really miss my friends very much but its not possible to meet everyone now. Everyone is so busy with their life. I still remember that time after each practises, we will always went for a good meal after the hard work. Hai....those were the days...

7th August, had a heavy lunch...go tamah jurong hawker center with my ex colleague for lo mee... the lo mee is good i must say.. The taste, the smell is 1st grade. they have fish, egg, pork ball, pork as ingredient plus the vinegar... woo hoo...because i dont have camera, thats why i cant take a picture of the food... and i can't let you all see how good it is... hai.. disappointing... so did you all get the hint.... my birthday is around the corner... what you should get for me you all should know right...hahah

Tonight got driving lesson. hmm... wonder if i will be able to drive well... i do hope so.. think back when i first learn, i always can't cope with the clutch and the accerator..faint. thanks to one of my friend. he explain very clearly to me how i should do it....edison is not so patient with me then :(

Anyway test date is really near le... i am very gan qiong and not confident. sian...
but i must say there is one radio station ad which i like very much... i forgot its 95fm or 90.5fm.. hear only the good stuff where this lady is driving and the instructor is saying all the discouraging words but she only can hear the good words out from it and she feel very happy and encourage...haha i think that is what i need too. Its good... hehe

Went for facial today.....it was painful...

The way they squeeze my pimple makes me wanted to cry or shout out its painful....but for the sake of pretty, i have to bear with it. My next appointment is on the 20th of August....hai ....have to be torture again but the massage is good. 20th is my last package appointment don't know if i should continue with their facial. Bio Skin seems quite a good choice. The ad by Ding Zhi Yong was good :) he is my idol lei..and Bio Skin they don't squeeze seems good.

2nd August, after my work went for GB... My girls are smartly dress in Full Uniform...I am proud of them. They look good and smart.

After GB went out for lunch with jasmine and meiya at Jurong Point crystal jade and then i went for my driving lesson...Test date is near... hai...abit worried...

3rd August, sunday, i went to church service with edison, meiya, jasmine and her friend. The sermon by Anothony was good. It was simple and direct :) After service, i went to feed my dogs and then we went to hilltop for lunch. :)

Send jasmine to jurong point to take a cab and then edison and me head towards to Expo for the asian food Delight. Bernice is there selling her cone pizza, first in singapore, air flown from Italy.

Natas fair was there too. Faint there are so many people Q-ing up to go into natas fair. Hmm...we had a hard time to find our way to hall 3 with all the squeezing.

After the Fair, it was about 6plus... we decided to go natas fair since the Q now is short. Pay $4 for the entrance fees...

Saw WTS Travel and Tour and then i suddenly thought of SA tour... oh ya, my korea friend might be there helping out. So i decided to go and take a look... Ya Chan was there. This is the first time i saw him after he came to singapore. He dye his hair black and cut his hair short.. he was very happy when he saw me... will ask him out some other day :)

2nd August 2008... feeling weird, mix feeling...thinking of something....i wonder how i should react or response today or monday or the next future. Abit scare, abit trying to hide...I hope i am doing the right thing. The right decision.

Finally i change my blog skin today... even though it is not as pretty, not as colourful as my other friends blog skin, but i just simply love it, it's simple and the colours combinatiion were great...

Yeah man.. i add on glister to it as well, finally found out how to do it... the next thing i want to explore is to add music to my blog man.. still figuring how to do it.. hehe.. Meiyi was bad, she demand that i change my blog skin before she teach me how to link friends.. too bad, i know i can do it myself too. Bea.... :p

Anyway, last friday race was good.. even though we did not win the $1000, but it was fun. We learn alot of things and it was fruitful. Even though very tired and got to wake up early next morning for GB. It was worth it....

Enjoy GB on sat.. To be able to join the girls for program was a happiness also.. look forward to every gb meeting..

Last Saturday we did not win anything haha... we find that it was not worth it so we decided to haha you know la....

Although today the cash prize is much lesses then last week, but i have made some enquires and they say that not many people sign up.. so that means our chance is higher this week....haha.....yipee....but still must see how la today...

The start off point for today will be at the National Museum and we have to be there at 7.30pm. Estimate the whole thing will end at around 1230am... wow and tomorrow got GB early in the morning and sunday also have..

Sunday afternoon still got driving, i wonder if i can concentrate...faint...it will be tiring but i guess i am really not suitable to drive. hai... so sad...

He opened the gates of the fortress for the Javanese soldiers who then raided and conquered
Singapura. The Sultan and his family fled north and eventually settled in Malacca1.

Race Scenario
For the race, imagine that when Sultan Iskandar Shah fled Singapura, he sent a
separate group of loyal men to retrieve and hide the treasures in his palace. News
of this treasure reached some Javanese soldiers. You and your team are the
Javanese soldiers bent on finding and recovering the treasures.

Race Objectives:
In teams of five, you will race through NHB museums (Asian Civilisations Museum,
National Museum of Singapore, Peranakan Museum, Singapore Art Museum and
Singapore Philatelic Museum) and various places in the arts & heritage district to
solve puzzles and overcome challenges. There will be cash prizes for the top 3
teams.

Another Boring Day

Its another day, feeling full and sleepy after lunch, i thought of writing my blog so that i can attract sofia to my blog and leave some words on my tagboard. haha.

Some recent updates... Last Saturday was a busy day for our GB company. We have jasmine early in the morning,leading our girls, they are vivian, joey, jean and irene to Hougang Mall to sell Kit Kat. The girls have to wear uniform and sell kit kat at NTUC. The reponse is good and the girls enjoy it... I went down to look for them and edison was force by jasmine to buy kit kat. Selling of Kit Kat is part of the President's challenge 2008. We were ask by HQ if we wants to attend the cheque presentation to President at Guides House. Isn't that an honour. Great Job Jasmine and the girls.

Then edison fetch us to Christ Church Secondary for promotion and dedication service. Our Company is recieving the Gold and Sliver Award for the Challenge and my girls were promoted to CPL and Sgt. Well done man. And for me hehe, i am the flag barrier for this year. It's an honour to be able to carry colours at national event. i would never have thought that i would be given a chance to do it. Normally is only i see other people carry :)Thank God for the Chance. Everything went off smoothly and i did not trip and fall :)

We went for dinner at Yung Sheng Kopitiam and we went to buy some stuffs for the next day fortnight and jasmine and meiyi decided to stay overnight at my place. We were doing some touch up for the handicraft that we are going to sell the next day and we slept at 4am in the morning. Damn tired sia... faint...

But i must say the results were great. Thanks to Jurong Christian Church Members who bought the things from us. We made a total of $270.00

It is still a very good start to me, after the event, we were so tired. We left church around 3plus and we went to the hawker for lunch. Hmm...Lo Mee. it simply taste great. yummy yummy...were so tired after so all the things. Went home bath, and lie on bed, wanted to take a short nap but my hp rang. hmm so bad, who is the one that stop me who sleeping. So its saleem, the security guard at my company. Yes saleem why... Company diesel pump lock, can you come down and take a look. i was hmm i dont know what to say. -____-" i was going to fall asleep already lei... then i ask, did you call boss. He stays nearer. maybe you call him. then he say boss not in singapore the ring tone shows he is oversea. faint... argh...i was so lazy to get up of my bed but there was nothing i could do. so i tell him ok i will go down. Edison fetch me there. When i reach, i saw people pumping mah. how come he say lock. feeling quite upset, i went to the guard room to look for the guard. erm...i thought you say the pump was lock. how come got people pumping, he went out with me to take alook he say just now got 2 driver complain cant pump. I say next time continue to monitor a few more before you call me down. i am running a waste trip down.

hai... when i reach home its already 7plus. so we decided not to sleep but watch tv lo. so tired.

Then the following day is GB day.. faint continual for 3 days. not me but the girls la. they must be tired too.

sorry girls that i did not attend, but i was told you all did a great job :)

Was feeling excited that my girls attain quite a few badges this year. so happy, coming up next wednesday i am going to collect my responsility to the world badge and the pioneer service award badge and educational badges. Three badge to collect. yeah man. And maybe the next coming up badges will be heritage badge and total defence and physical badge. hmm i am surpise that we are able to do so much badge this year.

Hmm....i am here again :) yesterday i wrote so much about GB already, today i am going to write something more personal... Let me think...I think my life is all surrounded by GB..haha...think gb make up 80% of my time and life. But i must say edison really supported GB very much also... he always fetch me to GB and he never grumble i spend too much time there. Thank you hubby...

Hmm....have been rather busy with work lately and have been working hard to earn more money...same as meiyi, i am quite broke these few months.

Today i am meeting a korea friend, Chan, he is here to further his study. Hmm get to know him on my korea trip last year. He is the photographer cum the tour guide assistant. Have been msn this half a year :) He reached singapore last saturday and is staying at katong hostel, today after work maybe i will bring him to Marine parade for dinner ba i guess.

Hi its me again, writing my isolated blog....its have been months before i touch my blog again....i am here to clear the spider webs aways.

These few months you can say i have met with alot of problems so having some emotion so didnt update anything.

A few things to update...was having some problem with GB, it sure makes me sad...very sad i must say...but seeing the girls hardworks makes me feel console and it sure encourage me...

CPL camp - 24th May - 26th May 08
Our company send 6 girls for promotion from LCPL to CPL. I must say these 6 girls have do me proud during the camp. They are Joey, Wee Xin, Elaine, Damaris, Xinyi and Paulene. I know my girls are being force to go on the accounts of promotion and i know they drag their feets to go...haha...Boring were written in their face for the whole of first half day. But i am glad that they starts to enjoy the camp and they started to know other girls from other company towards the later part of the day.
i can see my girls leading the group, share with the rest their cheers, giving commands during squad duties, helping members to finish their food. I must say girls , you all have done me proud..i must say elaine surpise me too. Even though she left on the first day, but she was able to go through the whole camp two weeks later all by herself. Well done Elaine

But most importantly is not only our girls benefit from this camp, our officers and helpers benefit from it too.

I get to know lijie, haha my good partner in the camp, she was a great help and i am surpise when she scold the girls.. she can be fierce too.. dont play play, she can be fun too...my God she is so funny with her jokes and action, lijie keep in contact lei even though you have left westwood :) do hope you still can go back to serve at 9th so that we help one another and encourage each other. I simply love the camp committees... i cant believe they are such fun people... same with the girls, i dont know them well until the late evening, and especially from the second day..we joke, we play, we sing and we eat together..we enjoy each other.

I have to thank jasmine as well, without her accompany me go for meeting and encourage me to take up the role, i won't be able to go through it.Jasmine is the only one who will accompany me for national event. Thanks jasmine for coming back to help in the company. Your return is such a blessing to me.
I must admit the first day i was so stress almost going to break down already, but 2nd day was a total relieve for me. Thanks for all the encouragement i have receive from girls and officers.

Thank you meiyi and sofia...Sofia thanks for coming to help out and you have skip your lesson...so sorry, but your pressence is indeed a great encouragement to me i must say. I know although you are tired but you continue to do your best for the camp, thanks for waiting for me when i send elaine home and having to bath so late, it have been quite sometime since i last saw you...must come back soon k...I will wait for you to finish your stuff :)

Meiyi, thanks for your pressence too, to be able to go with so many own company people for a national camp indeed is a great encouragement to me. able to share my load is another great things. Thanks you for being there with me and throughout the camp...and all your view and opinon, it is very precious to me. :)

Overall, it is a good experiences for me.The camp was great, the people was great, the camp personnel was great, the girls was great and best of all, God was great. Thank you God for giving me this chance.

Our company send 12 girls for this competition. Was very worried that we are not able to send so many girls as some of the girls went for some educational trip quite last minute and we have one girl who did not turn up for that day. Was very very worried that we might cause wellington primary to lose out points for that. But God was good, we got just the right number of people...elaine suddenly turn up on that day...thank God she have recovered after a serious fever after cpl camp and she msn huimin to ask for the program the next day. Isnt it great..God just make things possible. Jasmine and i were suppose to take one group each, my group memebers were paulene my group leader, elaine, Gillian, jiawen, Damaris and abigail.
Although there were a few hit up for the event like jiawen fall down, some girls did not have breakfast, some were really tired after the long journey, it was raining cats and dogs but i can assure that team work is fully shown in our group. Our senior took great care of the junior and the junior were just as great. they were so sporting and helpful..the junior carrying a big bag still help me to carry things around. Thank you so much. You all were simply great..and we got a silver for that. Three cheers for that.

The other group that was lead by jasmine and 22nd officer, opposs i forgot her name..please forgive me...her group members were group leader vivian, joey, huimin, xinyi,irene heng and Geradyln. together with 4 primary school junior from wellington.
They too have hit up here and there example, their primary school kids were much younger compare to our group, irene heng shoes detach from the sole, huimin walk until leg pain etc...but they still manage to complete the race in a even shorter time. I am proud of you all to have overcome all hit up. And they got a gold for it.. Well done.

My girls also went for the cambodia trip organise by our 17th company and 9th company. The girls enjoy the trip and they have grown up after the trip. Hmm...also get to know 9th company better haha thats very good. Our sister company :) Hai..but no souveneir for me... only joy remember to buy for the officers. Thank you so much teacher in charge.

My sec 3 girls also went for the leadership conference on 17th of June 08. It was a long day for them and finally they can be promotion to the rank of sergent. i am happy for them. Keep it up girls.

Joey and Irene went for the SYF, thanks for putting in effort for this event and i am glad that you all know more friends as a result..and gain more experience. Well done!!

I went for the ndp rehearsal with sarah on one saturday as the two commanders can't make it for the event. We realise after a few rehearsal both of us were so tired. Age is really catching up...haha...faint...but nevertheless, it was still a good experience to be able to march for ndp again. haha.

On 28th of June 08 was the west zone drill test. i am happy that my girl have did well on that. I also want to give a pat on myself, i have give all my best to help the girls to master all the drill stages even though for the slow march session i have teach them the wrong things but thank God they are not penalise for that. I must say they are very flexible to changes haha...ok girls i promise i will go for refresher course next year while you all go for drill instructor course. But of course i will not send all of you la...i will only send the best of the best to go...so jia you ba girls. For those who didnt manage to clear stage 3, not that you all were no good, but maybe lack of some luck i would say. Don't worry, master your drill better, i will send for the drill instructor to test you all again :)

Finally, we can have our normal program this week after a busy and pack holiday. YES!! so i expect full attendance from you all :), i will try to arrange for you all to take as much badgework as possible to attain more badge for yourselve.

Coming up we will be busy with GB fortnight and drill competition. So be prepare.. :)

*I am sorry that if i left out anyone in my previous blog that i have not mention it,it was not intentionally but there were really alot of people. not possible for me to mention everyone of you all so i only mention those who are currently still very active in the company. For the girls part, i got so much to tell everyone of you all. everyone of you all leave such good memories to me. Even thought sometime you all were naughty and made me angry but i must say you all are good girls and i am proud of you all. Let's make GB a good home for us... God please continue to bless our company and bring us closer together, let there be trust among us and the girls stay united together even thought next time when they were out of GB. Bless them to shine out to other people as well. thats all for my long blog....haha good night..

since irene have been so supporting. represent the whole company, ok i shall start with her..

IRENE TAN - So lovable and cute. Someone who look so much like Shen Dian Xia is actually in our 17th Girls' Brigade Company. Irene love to say Oh my God or Oh wo de Tian. Irene is a humours and funny girl. She can shout quite loudly. Command wise, i have not got the chance to listen to her command yet. Must find one day to listen and see if she can be a good commander. She learn things quite fast and her cute action and the way she walks makes you want to pinch her rosy face. Think she can mix with anyone, everybody would like to be her friend. Cause she is such a nice and cute girl.

To continue what i have left out yesterday about the character part. Think you all must be excited what is all your ranking and what is your impression to me in my heart.

Lets start with the most senior one.

Officer Michelle
Hmm... a very senior officers who was already at GB when i first join. The most scary officer when i was still a secondary school girl. Upon seeing her, my hands and legs will tremble. But after i become a officer, things got better. She is more friendly towards people now already. She say due to her age and the girls nowsday are not like us anymore. So have to change the way she teach. Not that strict anymore but she will not compromise to safety and the basic discipline. She is the one that i always report to. If one day she leave GB, i will be very very lost. Suddenly lost a head. how to continue my walk.

Officer Meiya
Get to know Meiya better only through this two three years. I remember there is one time during office hour she called me. Sounded serious and i was listening to it attentively. She was asking me about her job, should she change anot. hmm.. think that was the first time she really consult my opinon and i feel really honour. Feel honour because it was something not relating to gb. And i know she really value my opinon after the call. THink it was God who ask her to call me so that she will have a clearer view of what and how to do. Sometime when we are lost, what we need to do is to call the person that appear on your mind or someone whom you trust can give you good suggestion and to evaluate the situation for you. I still can remember two weeks ago, i also meg her and ask her for direction and her answer to me amaze me instantly. Thats what friends are for man. Gald to know her and able to share things with her. She is the only one who stand by me during our gb low period also. Although she seems strong and stubborn outside but her heart is soft inside. she will put the girls intrest in the first place and the only officer who because of gb will find a five day job only.The best attendance so far.

Zhen Zhen
Have been my good friend since secondary school days. Have been always strong and decisive whenever problems arise. A good leader who knows and can take everything in her hand. I feel safe when she is handling the things for me.
But recently think she met with some problem. Quite worried for her too as she dont share much with us. Hope she will open up and be happy forever. Look forward to work hand in hand with her soon.

Jasmine
Jasmine is another good friend of mine who will always encourage me when i am down. she will find ways and means to encourage me. She send me email and past mails.those past encouraging email she will compile and send to you to let you know we can cross this hurdle as well as long we are united. nothing is impossible if we are united. We cant chat on the phone cause once we chat faint we can hang on the phone for 3 to 4 hours. Amazing

Peiwen
Peiwen i see her grow up together with jasmine. Hmm... as she works in the bank. I only get to see her during camps and enrolment day. Sat program not so much. But i thank God that i can serve together with her for gb. She have been improving over the years. But i really do hope to see her more often in GB. I miss those fun days that we officers get together every sat to go for gb, to have meal after gb and to rot together on sat. It was such good feeling.

Meiyi
She is a cool girl to me. Dont need to put up any make up, just a cap and a jeans gets her anywhere. Her passion to do things and her passion in life just surpise me. She puts in effort and her heart to do things when she was just a sec one girl. She will put the girls in the first place. Not buyers to any girls. Fair to each one of them. A rare talent i should say. She learns things fast and appreciate things around her. My good friend who accompany me through the journey. Hmm our age different is 9 years and yet she can see things so clearly that it amaze the senior officers. She is a good leader by nature. Glad that she is in GB and we are able to walk through all the tough patches of life together all these years. Continue to seek God and do our best to GB ba. jia you

Peiyun
Peiyun have change so much since her school days till date. She is equally good with meiyi.God is really good to put both of them in GB. Peiyun works hard for gb also. She will put in 101 effort when you ask her to do something. See things clearly as well, not buyers to anyone, love every gb girl. Thats what i admire the both of them. Their passion, their attitude. Everything about them amaze me. Faster promote to officer and help me with my load man.

Sofia
Sofia a very soft spoken girl. in good terms with meiyi and have learn alot from her too i guess. A very nice girl who works hard in GB. A good leader and she have learn to be really independant over all these years. I am proud of her actually. A very well behave girl. Grow up faster my future officer and help me with my load man :) We need new blood man. :) Great work sofia for your effort and serving. Appreciated....

Yoketing
Yoketing is a nice girl too. helping out in GB whenever she can. I do hope that i can see her more often. She can get along well with the girls. Yoketing we miss you, hehe you know what to do on sat liao right...

Gillian
Join only two years. But i can see her passion in GB during her first year. She was so enthu with GB, her attendance have been good and have encourage her fellow classmate to come backt to GB. A nice girl who will always iron her uniform and look as smart as possible.
Keep up the good work and gillian good luck in your exam. I am sure you will do well. We look forward to your return after your O level man.

haha now for the sec threes.....if you all wants to knows wat i write about you all, please look out for tomorrow captain blog. Today wrote alot already. Officer work all dont need to do le....haha... so look out for the next blog man.

GB, my life job

Hmm....long time didnt write blog already. not that no time to update just that feeling abit confused so just skip away with it.

But have decided to continue writing today as i really have the urge to update today.

Since today is our company enrolment day, i shall write about GB :)

Have been in GB since sec one, that was 14 years old then....i really cant believe it that i have join for so many years already.

From a really really quiet girl to a happy nco, to a happy go lucky cadet lte, and to a heavy responsibility captain.

Being a captain is really very different from any other roles that i used to be.

Everybody is looking up at you, every decision makes will effect the company.

Although it is not an easy task, but i enjoy it till date. I experiences happy, sorrow, sadness and disappointment. Sometime i will just hide in my bed and cry, sometime i will feel very contented and sweet. Over all the years, i have see and experience so much. It really add colours to my life.

Recent years have not been easy.. but thank God that he is always providing a way out for me. Really appreciate that he have been showing me the way to lead GB. Although we are a small comapny but we do appreciate each other company.

I want to thank God for Meiyi, Peiyun, Jasmine, Meiya, Michelle, jasmine, Zhen Zhen, Peiwen and sofia. Thank God that he have send this people to me. They have been a great help, a great encourager and they also carried me through all these years. They keep me going and give me strength to do and continue this ministry. Life will be dull without them. Thanks pals. I love talking to you all... you all share my burden and encourage me. Thank you Meiya who teach me to ignore all other things and be focus as in what i should do. It really encourage and benefit alot. Meiyi is the one who have the same idea and same thinking with me. We share the same view and how things should be done. Sometime will consult her to double confirm what i should do. She is too matual to be true.
Peiyun a very nice and jovial girl... will do her best for gb also. If she is free she will do watever she can to gb. Admire her effort and the relationship she have with the girls. Always there for GB without any grumble. Jia you.

I have a group of very special girls also. Everyone of them is special. Each one touch my heart. They are also the strength that keeps me going. Seeing them, i always tell myself what i have done is all worth it. No matter what i will continue to walk with them no matter how hard or how difficult the route infront is.

Every girls got their plus point and weak point. Nevertheless i must say i am proud of them.. They are so truthful with their heart.

Let me write abit about everyone of them. time check 1240hrs hmm....getting late already. dont think can finish it all. I will temporary stop here. will continue tomorrow with my girls story. :) and of course some photos of our enrolement.
